Art in our life

How does art influence on us? Have you ever think about this. When you are listing to a song, when only one sound can touch the strings of your soul. When you look at paintings and can’t move out your eyes because you absorbed by them. In ancient Greece exist god called Apollo – is one of the most important and complex of the Olympian deities. He is a god of art: music, dance, architecture etc. Greeks love and honored him. All in all: we can’t just live without art how would we ignore it, all is art. Look at these flowers at the sun and people. All of us are interesting and uniq.

Everyone has a favorite song no metter in what genre it has been written or who has sang it. And now imagine that there is no songs no music no notes on our planet. Wouldn’t it be such boring and pessimistic? Music is one of the ways to inspirate yourself, way to stand out and show all yourself to world. That is the way author think about music.

Music, when soft voices die,
Vibrates in the memory—
Odours, when sweet violets sicken,
Live within the sense they quicken.

Rose leaves, when the rose is dead,
Are heaped for the belovèd’s bed;
And so thy thoughts, when thou art gone,
Love itself shall slumber on.
– Percy Bysshe Shelley

The art called “Violonist Girl” you can buy it followed the link in the link bellow all text.

Every time I see a ballet it makes me happy and sad. This perfect dance I can’t move my eyes. Their gracious and ardor amaze each one in the hall. No one will say a word or move eyes.

She moved like water
Grace as it is in every curve
Boundless beauty laced in movement
Infinite flow compressed by subtlety

Her dance as seamless as wind
Perfection carved in every step
Flares of passionate glory fills her skin
Never rigid in her creativity

Cities’ Series

Cities – so different but all charming us. Aren’t they? Many of them gave birth to famous people. For example Salzburg gave us one of the most popular and known musicians: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and his father Leopold Mozart. Bonn: not less talented Ludwig van Beethoven. Vinci: Leonardo da Vinci. etc.

Bremen

Bremen, what a wonderful city on the North of Germany. On the picture is river called Weser. At night or even twilight on this river you can see a magically light fills the whole sky with colorful paints. This view charmed the author so he was inspired with this beauty and tried to capture it.

You should hear a Bremen in an amazing fairy tale called ” Town Musicians of Bremen ” retrieved and recorded by the Brothers Grimm.

Amsterdam

Amsterdam is a city where all dreams come true. Not without reason people go there it is a charming place with a special aura that cover you with love and care. The Author felt this aura and in the name of the city paint this picture.

Vincent van Gogh liked to live in a wonderful Amsterdam. Lots of his pictures lies in Amsterdams’ museums.

Dear Friend, it has been long, how do you do?
The season’s turn, are lonely for you gone
No doubt you have some tales of Love, of fun
But distance turns my heart from red to blue

Lady, belle, beau babe, you are a light
Of majesty towards which I must fly
For you are dancing in a freer sky
Than that which cloaks me in the darkling night

The devil haunt and topple my sky which
Brilliant, bright with dreams, by tortures crushed
But when with you the memory of him hushed
For you bring Love, for you superior witch

For you I beget sweet and tender psalms
Would regale thee hours long with drams
Let’s see the world from Tokyo to Amsterdam

Be forever happy, forever young
At Heart, never such a passion sung
By saints or angels from illustrious tongue.

Venetian Beauty

As you see Veice is the one of the most beautiful and influential cities in Author’s opinion. But what should we say it is true. Venice can charm everyone with only one view. This city full of love and inspiration

A charming architecture has captured each heart on our planet. Without any exception. And also Venice is one of the most artful cities. So the author tried to display a sculpture and the cathedral on background.

Venice piddles proudly on glass waters
With stilts, grey and dewy.
She posts blandishments on the
Spine of Italy, a robust peninsula.
Evening charms her wildly with
Eastern protocols of sinking sun,
Sweetly orange and fantastic,
Burning soothingly, the buttocks of the sky, and
Reflecting genially on the anus of her vaporetto –
The virginal energy of Venetian waters
Cruising out the hell in us.
– Nkwachukwu Ogbuagu

Venetian Dream

Is this was a dream or real?
I can’t understand this feel.

Venice often comes to the author in dreams. This place inspire him a lot. Like a muse you look and can’t move your eyes from here because she charm you.

White swan of cities, slumbering in thy nest
So wonderfully built among the reeds
Of the lagoon, that fences thee and feeds,
As sayeth thy old historian and thy guest!
White water-lily, cradled and caressed
By ocean streams, and from the silt and weeds
Lifting thy golden filaments and seeds,
Thy sun-illumined spires, thy crown and crest!
White phantom city, whose untrodden streets
Are rivers, and whose pavements are the shifting
Shadows of palaces and strips of sky;
I wait to see thee vanish like the fleets
Seen in mirage, or towers of cloud uplifting
In air their unsubstantial masonry.

– Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

Hopeful Friday

So we waited up, here is it – Hopeful Friday – the last day of #summer_serenade. The last post and in combination the last hopeful breathe in and breathe out. We hope this event impressed you at least a bit. And of course we hope you like it. Because Elpis – the personification of spirit of the hope gives us this possibility. Actually this Friday symbolizes farewell all past that worried us in some way and gives a hope to go forward and get successes in future.

The sky was overflowed with lots of colors. They swim in in each other mixed it all in one big picture.

Out of the sunset’s red
Into the blushing sea,
The winds of day drop dead
And dreams come home to me. —
The sea is still,— and apart
Is a stillness in my heart.

The night comes up the beach,
The dark steals over all,
Though silence has no speech
I hear the sea-dreams call
To my heart; — and in reply
It answers with a sigh.
— William Stanley Braithwaite

Musical Thursday

Musical Thursday is the second and penultimate day of #summer_serenade. Today is a day dedicated to music. Because music is essential part of our life, in first years of our life mom sung us laudably, than in school on music lessons, than we found the music we like and listen it. Music like nothing else shows other people who we are. In Greece mythology this god is Apollo is one of the most important and complex of the Olympian deities.

“If music be the food of love, play on, Give me excess of it; that surfeiting, The appetite may sicken, and so die.”

William Shakespeare

Music is a picture that musician paint with a instrument. You can’t see this picture but you can feel it with your body.

Music, when soft voices die,
Vibrates in the memory—
Odours, when sweet violets sicken,
Live within the sense they quicken.

Rose leaves, when the rose is dead,
Are heaped for the belovèd’s bed;
And so thy thoughts, when thou art gone,
Love itself shall slumber on.

– Percy Bysshe Shelleye

Lucky Wednesday

Lucky Wednesday is the second Wednesday of the #summer_serenade and we think it is a really lucky day to take a chance and maybe change your life at all, who knows? Today Fortune turn on to us frontlly. And the goddess called Tyche bless us to do our best, to risk, to do not be afraid of futurer. But wait who is Tyche? Tyche is goddess of luckiness and destiny in Greece mythology – Fortune in Roman mythology. Also Tyche is an oceanid – nymph who is one of three hundreds daughters of two Titans: Oceanus and Tethys. One of the most known attribute of the goddess is wheel, wheel that symbolize changeability of luckiness.

Poppies are one of the most favorite artist’s flowers. One of the reasons of this immense love is that poppies are common in Ukraine. But this don’t do them less beautiful or interesting. Sometimes ordinary could be more attractive than unusual.

High on a bright and sunny bed
A scarlet poppy grew
And up it held its staring head,
And thrust it full in view.

Yet no attention did it win,
By all these efforts made,
And less unwelcome had it been
In some retired shade.

Although within its scarlet breast
No sweet perfume was found,
It seemed to think itself the best
Of all the flowers round,

From this I may a hint obtain
And take great care indeed,
Lest I appear as pert and vain
As does this gaudy weed.

Cognitive Tuesday

Cognitive Tuesday, what a nice day to get some knowledge. We live in informative age so information and knowledge now is the most important thing in nowadays. In Greek mythology the goddess of the knowledge was Athena, when people didn’t know what to do they went and prayed for her charity. Even then people used to believe that information is very important what we should say about nowaday? The best decision to conduct this Tuesday is to get attainments about something you like or you must to learn. Maybe today is a good day to start learning new language or to master new skills. New skills and knowledge are helpful to get a job. We hope this post of #summer_serenade will motivate you to stand up and start learning or do something.

Lots of people don’t like North Countries because of cold. But look at this wonderful glaciers that pass through themselves light and turn it into a blue shine. It seems like everything frezed in time and you can enjoy this view for eternity.

Illusions of permanence are cutting the very
Depth of this mind while it
Overflows with thoughts and
Never-ending clouds bring

Tears to remind how
Knowledge is the whirlwind while
Not-knowing is the silent center; still the
Ongoing winds keep tearing down every
Withered leaf from the tree of my heart.

– Nalini

Productive Monday

Productive Monday is a nice start of the week. It is like a push to do your best during the whole next 7 days. Wake up early in the morning, do some exercise and then go for a walk, because fresh air is helpful for a brain work. So when the brain works great it’s a good possibility to do something useful like work or cleaning house. We hope series #summer_serenade will charge us with the energy full of productivity.

I was sitting in front of the sea. Breeze, which was enveloping up me with a light drops of water tears, makes me happy. And I don’t need nothing else. Only me, canvas, paints and bay full of yachts. – said the author

Why does the sea moan evermore?
Shut out from heaven it makes its moan,
It frets against the boundary shore;
All earth’s full rivers cannot fill
The sea, that drinking thirsteth still.

Sheer miracles of loveliness
Lie hid in its unlooked-on bed:
Anemones, salt, passionless,
Blow flower-like; just enough alive
To blow and multiply and thrive.

Shells quaint with curve, or spot, or spike,
Encrusted live things argus-eyed,
All fair alike, yet all unlike,
Are born without a pang, and die
Without a pang, and so pass by.

Christina Georgina Rossetti

Active Sunday

Active Sunday is a time of #summer_serenade to do your best. To do all work, then go and do some activities like go outside for a walk or to go hang out with friends, maybe do some sport. It’s a wonderful day to do work but also go outside. Like golden mean between hardworking and relaxing. Hm, how about to rest on swimming or sitting outdoor with friends? It is a nice idea for all of us.

Summer is the time when more and more flowers start blossoming, so author try to convey all beauty of these flowers. All this petals colored with different colors that is not weird it is for attracting bees . But they are so beautiful. Aren’t they?

Hidden within the earthy depth
only emerges with time
only dances in tangent
now slips out with the butterflies.

Now the nightingales singing aloud!
One has spoken out, one blew
a kiss out off the dark seed.
Ah, what then broke through?

Up from the sky the blue-nymph
dropped down on the scene!
One that hid blurring that’s image
on the mirror is that now been seen?

Pouring rain singing down to primulas
paints it with all the colours of the wind
now the Spring picked up her paintbrush.

Rain some colour blow a kiss of the flower
paint it out of the mirror!

Incendiary Saturday

Incendiary Saturday one of the most joyful day in #summer_serenade. A day full of fun, joy and happiness. So it’s a necessary to go and get some fun. Maybe hang out with friends or go to concert or even a club. Because as used to know Saturday is that day to relax and to drop all your doings till tomorrow or next Monday. Today is a perfect day to do something dumb or just procrastinate. Well all you need today is just having fun.

Firehouse was lighting up the sea. And the sky was enveloped up with a spurts of flame. Only sails and sea were calm.

A poet’s breast within me beats
Beats heart and something I call soul that leaps
Charges, races, racing, finds its feet
Drags me, joyful, joy-filled, from my seat!

Elevating common prose
For pleasures sake, each poet knows,
Gains by use of tools as those
He would at length I’m sure disclose

If payment were perhaps an ear
Just for a moment lent to hear
Keenly offered verse— or beer,
Loved by poets too, I fear.

Most often those who are unwise
Negate the poet’s enterprise
Out of their need to criticize
(Perhaps within their misery lies)

Quite certain they must find a fault
Regardless of the somersaults
Some poets do to try and halt
Those who, in the name of help, assault.

Unless you’ve written words as these—
Verses made and meant to please
With just a little work to tease
Xenia* coaxed from a’s and z’s

Your day lacks all that razzmatazz—as
Zest for verse—and all that jazz.
